The LISNs are intended for EMI conducted emissions testing. The LISN model LIN-115 is placed between the
power source and the EUT (Equipment
Under Test) to stabilize line impedance,
provide a 50 ohm RF connection, and
block unwanted RF noise from the
external power source. The LIN-115 uses air coils in the current path in
order to avoid saturation due to high current. This model can handle up to 15 A of current. It was designed to test products according to FCC Part 15, CISPR 22 and EN standards.
The LIN-115
has two networks housed in a single enclosure for single phase
testing. It also has built in transient limiter to protect receiver input during conducted emissions measurement. It has Euro power socket for EUT power connection on the front panel for convenience. A Euro socket can be converted to US type sockt using the adapter shipped with each unit.
