EMI
/ EMC TEST EQUIPMENT
What
is EMI EMC? Electromagnetic Compatibility or EMC is defined
as the ability of a product to operate within its intended electromagnetic
environment and to accept or emit RF disturbances within defined limits.
These limits are set by the various worldwide regulatory agencies. EMC
testing can be devided into two areas; electromagnetic immunity testing
- (the ability of a product to withstand external electro magentic disturbance)
and radiated emissions testing (The level of electro magnetic disturbance
produced by the product).
Com-Power
line of EMI test equipment can be used for compliance or pre-compliance
radiated, conducted and immunity testing from DC to 40 GHz to meet the
various national and International EMC standards. We are the leading
producer of reference EMI noise sources (comb generators) for validating
EMI test sites up to 18 GHz. Our patented near field probe set has helped
countless engineers around the world to find the source of EMI disturtabance
in there products.
TELECOM (Part 68)
and PRODUCT SAFETY (UL /CSA /IEC) TEST EQUIPMENT
Com-Power offers a complete test system for testing products that interface
with public telephone network in the United States and Canada. The test
set was designed meet the requirements of Telecommunication Industry
Association (TIA) and Electronic Industry Alliance standard TIA/EIA/IS-968
(formerly FCC Part68) and Industry Canada CSO3 Standard.
Since product
safety testing is an important part most international regulartory standards,
