Returns & Refund Policy

Com-Power aims to ensure complete customer satisfaction. If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, the following return and refund terms apply.

1. Eligibility for Returns

  • Returns are accepted within 30 days from the invoice date.

  • Items must be unused, in original condition, and include all accessories/manuals.

  • Calibration fees, shipping charges, and international duties are non-refundable.

2. Non-Returnable Items

  • Custom-built products

  • Special-order items

  • Opened software or firmware licenses

  • Products with physical damage or signs of misuse

3. Restocking Fees (Recommended Structure)

For high-end electronic test equipment, industry-standard restocking is 15%-25%. Your best, fair, and defendable structure is:

Option A - Flat Fee (simple & common): 20% restocking fee on all eligible returns.

Option B - Tiered (recommended for Com-Power):

Product Value Recommended Restocking Fee
Up to $500 15%
$501 - $5,000 18%
Above $5,000 20%-25%

Why tiered structure is recommended:

  • Low-value items are easier to restock → lower fee.

  • High-value instruments require inspection, recalibration & repackaging → higher fee.

  • Protects Com-Power from financial loss while appearing fair and transparent.

4. Refund Method

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7-10 business days after inspection.

  • If the item fails inspection (missing accessories, damaged), partial refund or refusal may apply.

5. Return Authorization (RMA)

All returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).

Include the invoice number, product model, and reason for return.

6. Shipping Responsibility

  • Customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the product arrives defective.

  • We recommend using insured and trackable shipping.
