CDN for Two Unscreened Balanced Pairs
- Engineered for conducted immunity testing in accordance with IEC/EN 61000-4-6 and CISPR 16-1-2, the CDN-T4E enables controlled RF coupling onto two balanced unscreened conductor pairs used in data and communication ports.
- Covers a 150 kHz to 230 MHz frequency range, ensuring full support of the conducted RF immunity spectrum specified by international EMC immunity standards.
- Designed for cables with two unscreened balanced pairs, making it well suited for testing multi-pair interfaces such as industrial Ethernet, communication, and control cables.
- Implements the required 150 Ω common-mode impedance over the entire test band, meeting the impedance profiles defined by IEC/EN 61000-4-6 and CISPR 16-1-2.
- Supports up to 40 V RF injection and 2 A continuous current, allowing stable and safe application of immunity test levels without overstressing the EUT or test setup.
- Equipped with RJ45 connectors for EUT and auxiliary equipment connections and a 50 Ω BNC RF input, simplifying integration into standard conducted immunity test configurations.
- Supplied with individual calibration, including a specified voltage division factor, to support accurate, repeatable, and traceable establishment of calibrated drive levels.
- Applies RF common-mode disturbances simultaneously to two balanced unscreened pairs while preserving uninterrupted data communication between auxiliary equipment such as network simulators or switches and the EUT.
- Used to evaluate the immunity of products with multi-pair communication interfaces, including industrial Ethernet devices, networked controllers, automation equipment, and communication modules.
- Supports pre-compliance troubleshooting and formal compliance testing, helping engineers identify RF susceptibility on communication ports early in the product development cycle.
- Widely deployed in EMC test laboratories and manufacturer in-house facilities to validate conducted immunity performance before certification and market release.
- Forms part of a complete conducted immunity solution when used with Com-Power ADA-T4/T8 shorting adapters, ADA-515-2 150 Ω to 50 Ω adapter sets, TEP-050 50 Ω terminator, and Com-Power ACS series power amplifiers.
