Designed for conducted immunity testing on shielded signal and telecommunications ports, compliant with IEC/EN 61000-4-6 and CISPR 16-1-2, enabling controlled RF disturbance coupling onto up to four balanced screened pairs.
Operates over a frequency range of 150 kHz to 230 MHz when used as a Coupling/Decoupling Network, covering the full conducted RF immunity band required by IEC/EN 61000-4-6.
Optimized for shielded (screened) cables with up to four balanced pairs, making it suitable for products using shielded Ethernet (Cat 3, Cat 5) and similar screened data interfaces.
Provides the required 150 Ω common-mode impedance across the specified frequency range, meeting impedance and isolation requirements defined by IEC/EN 61000-4-6 and CISPR 16-1-2.
Supports up to 40 Vrms RF input voltage and 1.5 A maximum current, allowing stable injection of RF disturbance levels during immunity testing without overstressing the EUT or auxiliary equipment.
Equipped with shielded RJ45 connectors for both EUT and auxiliary equipment ports and a 50 Ω BNC RF input, enabling direct connection of screened Ethernet interfaces without modifying cables.
Offers high common-mode decoupling attenuation, providing effective isolation between injected RF disturbances and auxiliary equipment while maintaining uninterrupted communication during testing.
Supplied with individual NIST-traceable calibration, including a defined voltage division factor, ensuring accurate, repeatable, and traceable setup of conducted immunity test levels.
In addition to CDN operation, the CDN-T8SE can also be used as an Impedance Stabilization Network (ISN) for conducted emissions testing, providing added flexibility within EMC test laboratories.
Used to inject RF common-mode disturbances onto shielded multi-pair communication lines while preserving normal data traffic between auxiliary equipment and the EUT.
Ideal for real-world immunity evaluation of shielded Ethernet–based products, including industrial automation controllers, managed network switches, PLCs, industrial PCs, gateways, and communication equipment that must remain operational during RF exposure.
Integrates into complete conducted immunity test systems when used with Com-Power ADA-T8SE common-mode adapter sets, ADA-515-2 50 Ω to 150 Ω adapter sets, TEP-050 50 Ω termination, appropriate attenuators or directional couplers, and Com-Power ACS series power amplifiers, forming a comprehensive solution for screened multi-pair immunity testing.
