impedance stabilization network

ISN / CDN for RJ-45 Shielded

  • Impedance Stabilization Network (ISN) for shielded telecom ports — measures common-mode conducted emissions on screened (shielded) lines with up to four balanced pairs per EN 55022/32 (CISPR 22/32) and CISPR 16-1-2. ISN role applied 150 kHz–30 MHz.
  • 150 Ω common-mode termination per CISPR 22/32 — standard-defined impedance on the screened pairs so disturbance voltage at the measurement port is stable and repeatable.
  • Shielded RJ-45 receptacles on EUT and AE ports — direct mate with shielded Cat-5e/Cat-6/Cat-6A patch cords; no adapters required.
  • Shielded Ethernet ports on ITE — PoE switches, NICs, routers, network appliances, and servers with shielded RJ-45 jacks.
  • Industrial Ethernet / Profinet / EtherCAT shielded drops — field switches, drives, and I/O modules using shielded balanced pairs.
  • 50 Ω BNC measurement port on top of housing — direct mate to spectrum analyzer / EMI receiver for the disturbance voltage scan.
  • Also usable as a CDN for IEC/EN 61000-4-6 conducted immunity — secondary capability over the full 150 kHz–230 MHz band when needed.
  • Individually calibrated; compact and light at 2 lbs (0.9 kg) — outer surface designed for grounding to the reference plane; pairs with the SPA-900TG series spectrum analyzer / EMI receiver.
